THE BRIEF

He Came Home to Build Something Bigger

Omar Ochoa knew he wanted to be a lawyer long before he opened his own firm. After building his career in Austin, he returned to McAllen with a clear ambition: do meaningful work for Texans from the community he called home.

The firm's online presence needed to reach beyond the Rio Grande Valley. In-house marketing and an earlier agency relationship had not delivered the growth he wanted. Our job was to help prospective clients across Texas discover the practice and understand why its experience mattered to their case.

Initial Discovery

A Reputation That Search Had Not Found

Omar Ochoa Law had recovered more than $1 billion for clients across Texas. Online, that track record gave no advantage. Larger firms ranked ahead of it for the searches that mattered, and the practice's geographic reach ended where its visibility ended.

  1. Outranked in Its Own Market
Larger firms in the McAllen area ranked above Omar Ochoa Law for the searches most relevant to the practice. Prospective clients with strong cases were reaching competitors first.
  2. Reach Stopped at the Valley
The firm was already supporting some clients beyond the immediate area, but its online presence gave no indication it could serve Texans statewide. Prospective clients outside McAllen had no clear way to find it.
  3. Earlier Agency Left a Gap
An in-house effort followed by a previous agency relationship had not produced the lead volume the firm needed. The gap between the firm's courtroom record and its digital presence had been widening.
  4. Specific Goals, Ready to Execute
The firm came in with clear targets: more qualified cases each month and broader visibility across Texas. The priority was reaching clients with stronger cases outside the Rio Grande Valley.

BUILDING A CASE

Taking a McAllen Practice to a Statewide Audience

The work began with the questions a prospective client would ask: can this firm handle my dispute, does it serve my area, and how do I get in touch? We built the website and search content around those decisions.

  1. A Website That Shows the Firm's Strength
Rebuilt the site in Webflow with clear practice-area pages, client reviews and case results, helping visitors understand the firm's experience and find a route to contact. New website launched June 2023
  2. Search Coverage Beyond the Home Market
Expanded pages and content around insurance disputes and property damage to help people across Texas discover the firm. +331% organic keywords
  3. Trust at the Point of Decision
Brought testimonials and the firm's track record into the website experience, giving people more context before they made an inquiry. Experience and client feedback made easier to find
  4. A Clearer Route to the Right Inquiries
Refined contact paths, tracking and qualification so the team could distinguish relevant inquiries and understand the performance of its non-paid channels. −86% cost per qualified lead

“As a business owner, it's always tough to bring in a new vendor. You just never know. You could be getting a sales pitch. You could not understand what you're actually going to get out of it. I am not exactly a trusting person. I vet and do due diligence quite a bit on who we do business with. And so I did a lot of upfront research into Grow Law, and they have not disappointed at all. My experience has met and even exceeded my expectations.”
